Krishna Tiwari

President

Mr Krishna Tiwari is a versatile young journalist who has continuously spent more than 25 years in this field. He worked in various weeklies at the beginning of his career and later continued writing as a freelancer in different print media including national broadsheet dailies in Nepal. In order to share his expertise and excel his academic qualifications, Krishna was also involved in teaching at a College level for a few years before coming to Australia in the year 2008.

With his passion in media writing, Mr Tiwari studied Mass Communication and Journalism throughout his College life and completed Master’s degree in this subject from Ratna Rajya Laxmi Campus under Tribhuvan University in Kathmandu, Nepal in 2007. He has been involved in the Nepalese print media in Australia since his arrival in the same year. After working for a couple of Nepalese community magazines in Australia for a few years, Mr Tiwari involved in publishing Nepal News Australia as a founding Editor in 2013 and has been working in the same capacity since then. Mr Tiwari has completed a Diploma in Community Welfare from Granville TAFE in 2010. He is also involved in various organizations as a Media Public Relation Officer. Mr Tiwari has harboured lots of commendations from the Nepalese diaspora for his exemplary writing on contemporary and other pertinent issues. Mr Tiwari is current vice president of Anja ( 2022-2024) He also played his vital role to establish ANJA. He has been serving as treasurer of ANJA( 2020-2022), first executive team of ANJA, followed by Senior Vice President for 2022-2024, and currently President of the organization.

A native of Madhyabindu Municipality  of Nawalparasi district in Nepal, Mr Tiwari has been living a blissful life in Australia today.

Ganesh Bhatta

General Secretary

Ganesh Bhatta, born and raised in Gorkha, Nepal,  moved to Kathmandu in early 2000 and completed a Postgraduate degree. He began his media career in Kathmandu, working at radio stations such as Radio Rajdhani and Gurkha FM, and later at News 24 Television as a News Anchor/News Desk sub-editor.

Since he relocated to Sydney in 2017, he has been actively engaging in media and the Nepalese diaspore here. Currently, he serves as Executive Director and Chief Producer at Lukla TV (Australia), producing and presenting popular programs for its digital platforms. He is also actively involved in the community as the Coordinator of the Media, Newsletter and Publications Committee at NRNA Australia for 2023-2025 and the Public Relations Officer at the Australian Nepalese Journalists Association (ANJA) for 2022-2024, and where he is currently serving as a General Secretary for 2025-2027 tenure.

Khagendra Satyal

Treasurer

Khagendra Satyal has built a diverse and dynamic career in media and marketing. He began his journey as a reporter at MNTV in 2015, covering news and community events. In 2020, he took on the role of State Coordinator at KBC Khabar, where he played a pivotal role in managing media coverage of Nepalese events and community programs in Australia. His leadership and communication skills were instrumental in strengthening stakeholder relationships and expanding the channel’s reach.

Prior to his media roles, Khagendra contributed to educational initiatives at Koshi FM in Nepal, where he worked causally three months, engaging with local communities and promoting school programs. His experience in radio provided him with valuable insights into grassroots communication and community engagement.

Beyond his media career, Khagendra has been actively involved in leadership roles within organisations. After successfully completing his first tenure as Treasurer (2022–2024), he is currently again serving as the Treasurer of the organisation. Previously, he also held the position of Executive Member from 2019 to 2022.

Khagendra’s professional journey reflects his passion for media, education, and international marketing. Through his work, he continues to make a meaningful impact in the field.
